PBSSS CHRISTMAS  CLUB GALA

 Sunday 10th December, 2006.
A great gala with many PB's and some very exciting races.  Well done everyone.

A big thank you to Helen Pordage for arranging this and for the many people who helped on the day.  It would not have happened without you.  Thank You.

ISA Nationals
on Saturday 18th November

Holly Lynch
and Matthew Hyde both represented the Midlands in the Nationals at Coventry.
Holly gained a silver medal in the Year 9/10 IM and won gold the the Freestyle and Medley Relays.  Matthew gained a silver medal in the Year 6 Backstroke.
Well done
both of you.

Sutton Cub and Scout Gala

Jacob Crawford, Alfie McBride, Andrew and David Mason and Ally Fellows all swam in the Sutton Cub and Scout gala on Saturday 11th November.  Jacob won the freestyle, Ally came second in his age, Andrew Mason won his backstroke, David was 4th in his and Alfie made the final of the breaststroke.  Ally, Andrew and David are all in the same scout group and their team won the freestyle relay.

Congratulations
Robert Small, age 27 who swam in the ASA Masters
Championships this October.  He won a Silver Medal in the 100m Breast and came 6th in the 50m Butterfly.  Click for details.

The Committee would like to say a big thank you to Sarah Arscott for all the hard work she has done as Club Secretary.  Sarah has decided to stop this role as from now and so any enquiries should be made to Donna Jarvis or a Committee Member (until a new person can be found to fill the roll).  If you would like more information about the Club Secretary's roll then please contact Donna or a Committee Member.

Second win of season for Perry Beeches girls.
The girls competed for the first time in an All Girl Trophy Gala at Droitwich on Saturday 7th October and won with a 29 point victory over second place Redditch and third place Bromsgrove.
Well done everyone.

Stars of the Gala were undoubtedly Holly Lynch and David Fellows who both won the Top Boy and Girl in the 13/u age group. They both received their awards from the National Speedo League President and
the club congratulate them both.
