HELLO TO YOU ALL!!
Just a short newsletter this time hopefully! There a few important reminders for you all so read on!!
GENERAL INFORMATION
ASA FEES – These fees are now due again and need to be paid by 28th February 2006. Please pay by cheque made payable to PBSSS or cash as soon as possible or swimmers membership will lapse and they are not insured to swim at the club or to take part in Open Meets or Galas.
CONTACT FORMS – The club database is being updated again and every swimmer needs to complete a new contact form. These are available from the desk and need to be returned as soon as possible. Please if you have an e-mail address can you write it on the form, as it would be very useful to confirm team selection for galas. Also if you change telephone no’s or addresses throughout the year please can you inform the club so the database can be kept completely up to date. All forms will be kept confidential and not on display.
CLUB KIT
There is a notice on the board asking if swimmers (and parents) would be interested in club tracksuits and costumes or trunks with the club name and logo on. Please write your name on the list if you are interested so we can see if it would be financially viable. At present we do not have any costings and are just looking for numbers.
SWIMMING
Lots happening at the moment so please can everybody check the notice board at least once a week?
SPEEDO LEAGUE - The team sheet is up for the Speedo final and the club needs to know who needs transport to see about booking a coach, please tick off as soon as possible so arrangements can be made.
WORCESTER WINTER LEAGUE – 2nd round was on Saturday and both teams swam exceptionally well, as you may know the Speedo final falls on the same day as the Worcester final so the teams will be stretched very thin, we need all swimmers who are selected to be available if possible to give all the teams the best chance.
ASSESSMENTS - Swimmers in levels 3, 4, 5, 6, 7, 8 were assessed last week if they attended and lesson movement will be on the board next week. Please check to see if your child has moved lessons. If your child has passed their next level they will be able to receive a badge and a certificate noting their achievement. Please see Donna to order these.
RELAY TEAMS WARWICKSHIRE CHAMPIONSHIPS – Relay teams for these championships in March have now been put on the board, please check to see if your child is swimming.
WEB SITE
Our web site is in the process of being redesigned and is unavailable at the moment. Please be patient as we wait for the new website which will be much more informative and user friendly.
