GENERAL INFORMATION
Just a reminder to everybody that the pools are closed on Bank Holiday Mondays so there is no training.
CLUB FEES
WITH EFFECT FROM THE 1ST JUNE ALL SWIMMING FEES WITH THE EXCEPTION OF LESSON SWIMMERS WILL INCREASE BY £2 PER SWIMMER PER MONTH. PLEASE COULD ALL STANDING ORDERS BE AMENDED BEFORE THIS DATE TO TAKE EFFECT ON 1ST JUNE. PLEASE SEE BELOW FOR NEW FEES.

SECOND REMINDER CONTACT FORMS – The club database is being updated again and every swimmer needs to complete a new contact form. These are available from the desk and need to be returned as soon as possible. Please if you have an e-mail address can you write it on the form, as it would be very useful to confirm team selection for galas. Also if you change telephone no’s or addresses throughout the year please can you inform the club so the database can be kept completely up to date. All forms will be kept confidential and not on display.
BEHAVIOUR AND PUNCTUALITY
A reminder to parents that swimmers are your responsibility while in the changing rooms; there have been 1 or 2 incidents of unruly behaviour before and after swimming. PLEASE SUPERVISE YOUNGER CHILDREN IN THE CHANGING ROOMS. Also there are some swimmers who are persistently late for training sessions, which is very annoying for both coaches/teachers, and other swimmers. Please make sure swimmers are on the poolside 5 minutes before their session starts with hats and goggles on ready to warm up. Lesson swimmers also need to be on poolside 5 minutes before the lesson starts.
SWIMMING
Lots happening at the moment so please can everybody check the notice board at least once a week?
TEAM SHEETS - Please can all swimmers/parents check the notice board EVERY WEEK and tick OR cross if not available. Please make sure you do this, as coaches need to know as soon as possible to finalise the teams.
SPEEDO FINAL
The A team had a fantastic gala on Sunday at Sheffield and gained some 1st and 2nd places. Thank you to all swimmers and parents for their hard work and support. See board or website for a more detailed report.
WORCESTER WINTER LEAGUE
We had 2 teams in the finals and both performed very well. The actual placings did not reflect the performance of the swimmers and how close the races were. Detailed reports on website.
