HELLO TO YOU ALL!!
GENERAL INFORMATION
The Open Meet held in September raised £2650 for the club. A BIG THANK YOU TO EVERYBODY who helped to make the day run smoothly. Next year all swimmers who are eligible need to be swimming to make the event even better!
CHRISTMAS GALA
This takes place on Sunday 10th December at Beeches Pool. All swimmers aged 7-12 years will be required to enter to get up to date times for future team selection. It is an important event for the swimmers and they do receive trophies and certificates for winning. If a swimmer does not have a time they can still take part in the gala. Forms will be given out nearer the time. Please keep the day free if you can.
COMPLAINTS/CONCERNS
If you have a problem or a question regarding your child please email or contact a committee member. If the committee does not know there is a problem it cannot be sorted. Talking with other parents may not solve the problem. Contact telephone numbers are on the board. There are monthly meetings of the committee and the coaches where problems can be discussed if necessary.
CLUB KIT
If you need to order any club kit please fill in an order form asap. You need to pay with the order. An order will be sent off at the end of October. If you need flippers, goggles etc please see Linda on the desk.
SWIMMING
Lots happening at the moment so please can everybody check the notice board at least once a week?
TIMETABLE
There is a new timetable which started on the 1st October for all age groups. Please check the notice board or website for details. All swimmers need to be swimming in the correct sessions unless you have been told otherwise by the coaches/teachers.
LAND TRAINING
There are now more sessions of Land Training available to swimmers. This is an important part of your training to help with flexibility and strength. Swimmers will be supervised and will not be allowed to do exercises that are not relevant to their ages.
Please make sure swimmers have shorts, t-shirt and a skipping rope with them.
TEAM SHEETS
Please can all swimmers/parents check the notice board EVERY WEEK and tick OR cross if not available. Please make sure you do this, as coaches need to know as soon as possible to finalise the teams.
SPEEDO FINAL
There will be a coach to take the B team to Aylesbury on the 14th IF THERE ARE ENOUGH PEOPLE TO MAKE IT COST EFFECTIVE. Please sign up immediately if you need spaces on the coach. ALL CHILDREN 13 AND UNDER NEED TO BE ACCOMPANIED BY A PARENT DUE TO HEALTH AND SAFETY AND CHILD PROTECTION REGULATIONS.
