The Warwickshire County Championships was held over three weekends at Coventry. This years four Bagcat winners are joined by some of the Medallists and team mates from Perry Beeches and Sutton Swim Squad. The swimmer with the most points over a number of different strokes within their age group wins the Bagcat award. This award highlights a very good all round swimmer who is great at swimming all strokes over varying distances. This year PBSSS are very proud and want to Congratulation the following swimmers: The winner of the 9/10 Year Girls age group was Hannah O’Brien. (Left in picture) The winner of the 11/12 Year Boys age group was Steven Scarrott. (Right of picture) The winners in the 13/14 Year age group were Holly Lynch and Adam Hall. (Middle of picture)
With some magnificent individual performances the award for overall Top Girl and Top Boy of the Championship across all the age groups was won by Holly Lynch and Adam Hall (middle left and middle right). This is a great achievement by both of these young swimmers, which will give them a great deal of confidence to go on to produce more great swims in the future.
This was a fantastic end to a great Championship, PBSSS won an impressive 66 Medals overall with many of the swimmers producing personal best times. The club now looks forward to the National Speedo League final at Sheffield in April and continued success at all levels. |
